Josh has spent the last 17 years mentoring and coaching athletes.  Born in Pittsburgh, PA he attended the University of Tennessee where he earned his degree in Human Performance and Sports Studies with a business minor.  He was a member of the national power house Volunteer track and field team specializing in the 800m and 1500m.

Josh comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience having run strength and speed programs for an Olympic Gold Medalist, a member of the US Men’s Soccer Team, NFL, NHL; Division 1 athletes in football, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, tennis, track and field and swimming; high school state champions and all state performers, and numerous team state championships; countless developing young athletes, and active adults who want to live a more active and vibrant life.

Josh teamed up with renowned Orthopedic surgeon Dr. John Greenleaf to help athletes rehabbing from injuries return to play healthier than ever.

“My favorite clients aren’t necessarily the fittest and best athletes.  My favorites are those that are committed, hard working, and coachable. I am into long term relationships.  I want to help clients and athletes reach their goals in sport and life. Building trust and continuity in the long term gives the process a chance to take hold.  There are no short term fixes. It takes hard work and dedication. If you are a person who is willing to put your foot on the gas, I’ll steer the car and help you accomplish your goals and more.”

Josh lives in Lake Oswego with his 10 year son Gianni.  He has called Portland home for 22 years and is tirelessly dedicated to the success of his athletes.

“Whatever it takes”

“No citizen has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training.  What a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and grace of which his body is capable.”  - Socrates
